Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Notice explains what personal data Clockworks Analytics collects from you, through our interactions with you and through Clockworks Analytics, and how we use that data.
What information do we collect?
We collect several different types of personal data from you when your organization establishes a contract with us:
- While using Clockworks Analytics, we may ask you to provide us with certain information that can be used to contact or identify you. This information may include, but is not limited to email address, first name, and last name.
- We may also collect information about how Clockworks Analytics is accessed and used. This usage data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of Clockworks Analytics that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
- For data integrity reasons, any changes you make to Clockworks Analytics data are logged. These change logs are stored for 90 days and then deleted.
How do we use your Personal Data?
We use the collected personal data in the performance of contracts with Clockworks Analytics to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
- To provide and maintain Clockworks Analytics
- To allow you to participate in interactive features of Clockworks Analytics when you choose to do so
- To provide customer care and support
- To provide analysis or valuable information so that we can improve Clockworks Analytics
- To monitor the usage of Clockworks Analytics
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues
- To notify you about changes to Clockworks Analytics
- To comply with the cybersecurity auditing requirements of our clients
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, distribute or trade your personal data to outside parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate Clockworks Analytics, to provide services on our behalf, to perform related services or to assist us in analyzing how Clockworks Analytics is used. These third parties have access to your personal data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Transfer of Data
Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including personal data, to the United States and process it there.
Clockworks Analytics will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Notice, and no transfer of your personal data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.
Do we use cookies?
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are sent to your web browser from Clockworks Analytics and stored on your device to enable Clockworks Analytics functionality.
We do not track your activity within Clockworks Analytics through the use of tracking cookies, or other tracking technologies. Any cookies we do create do not contain any personal information.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies by modifying your web browser setting. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of Clockworks Analytics functionality.
Links to Other Sites
Clockworks Analytics may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Notice of every site you visit.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.
Notice to Clockworks Analytics Users
Clockworks Analytics is intended for use by organizations and are administered to you by your organization. Your use of Clockworks Analytics may be subject to your organization's policies, and if so please direct your privacy inquiries to your administrator. Clockworks Analytics is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of our clients, which may differ from those set forth in this Privacy Notice. If you use an email address provided by an organization, such as an employer, to access Clockworks Analytics, the owner of the domain (e.g., your employer) associated with your email address may: (i) control and administer your Clockworks Analytics account and (ii) access and process your data, including the contents of your communications and files.
How to access & control your Personal Data?
You can view, and edit your personal data from within Clockworks Analytics on the "My Account" page. On this page, you can also choose whether you wish to receive promotional material from Clockworks Analytics through use of the opt-in functionality.
You may request details of personal information which we hold about you. If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please email

If you believe that any information we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
Use of SMS for Communication
We may use SMS to communicate with you one-on-one when preferred, such as to provide support, or follow up on inquiries from Building Engineers. Your phone number will only be used for these direct communications will not be shared with third parties without your consent, and you may choose to opt-in or opt-out at any time though the instructions provided in the Microsoft SMS workflow. This is only for communication with those in the United States (including Puerto Rico) and Canada.
Changes to our Privacy Notice
We may update our Privacy Notice from time to time. We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on Clockworks Analytics, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Notice.
